Federal Skilled Worker Occupation List - June 2010


To qualify for Permanent Residence in Canada in Category 1 of the Ministerial Instructions Class applicants need at least one year of continuous full-time (or equivalent part-time) paid work experience in the last 10 years in one of the occupations below and obtain at least 67 points on the Point Selection System.

A maximum of 20,000 Federal Skilled Worker applications will be considered for processing each year. There is also a maximum of 1,000 Federal Skilled Worker applications per eligible occupation that will be considered for processing each year.
